Mudgee information session success

RDA Orana and the Mudgee Chamber of Commerce have co-hosted a successful information session for local businesses with a focus on meeting long-term workforce needs.

Geared towards hiring employees through the Orana DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement), the evening focused on using migrant workers to address skills shortage and ensure future growth.

“Having the right employee in the right role at the right time is paramount to ensuring your business is ready for growth and success,” RDA director of regional development Megan Dixon said.

“The evening was well-attended and focused on the DAMA and other programs including grant writing and the export hub.

“It was really about informing businesses that we are here to meet their needs and help them build on their existing foundation.

“We are looking forward to working with these businesses one on one in the future.”
