The NSW Investment, Industry and Regional Development Committee plans to reopen its enquiry into zonal taxation, with a view to driving the success of regional businesses. In particular, the key focal areas are payroll tax – including possible concessions for businesses operating outside of metropolitan
areas – and Stamp Duty on commercial properties in regional NSW, including possible concessions. The review has the potential to have a major impact
on driving economic success for businesses in regional areas. The committee believes that a different taxation approach is the solution. For more information,
