A company with mining interests in the Orana area has been named as the Mining Operation of the Year at the New South Wales Minerals Council Suppliers Awards. Alkane Resources Limited was recognised for its fleet improvement, contribution to local works and upskilling of the workforce. Alkane operates
the Tomingley Gold Operations which opened in 2014, and the Dubbo Zirconia Project set to launch in 2019.
